Roasted Roots AZ

Carrots were never a favorite snack for me, I simply do not like them even with ranch or hummus. I eat relatively clean foods but I am also a sucker for a veggie hack especially for one that doesn’t rank high on my list. This time I was reeled in at a farmers market back when I first moved to Phoenix and I HAD to buy a bag, eventually I got my friends hooked because they are just that good. I’m talking BIG FLAVOR on some carrot jerky. Disclaimer: I do realize that this sounds wild but trust me they are that delcious.

Like many of my finds, I keep up with these vendors on IG to see what markets they are planning to participate in or if they are coming out with new flavors. A few years later I saw that there was a competition to win 4 bags of carrots if you tagged some friends and I WON! Just like that, I fell in love with this tasty treat all over again. First and foremost, my gift was hand delivered - this is unheard of!!! My winning bag had 4 bags of carrots and a hand written note. It was my lucky day and I couldn’t have been happier. I did share 2 bags with my fellow carrot loving friends.

Roasted Roots AZ sells three flavors of carrots Sweet Teriyaki, Dr.Peppered and Sweetie Pie in various quantities from 4oz to 16oz. If you are in the market for a tasty and healthy snack then I would strongly recommend. They also come in handy resealable bags so I like to travel with them.
